About company name change

In 1917, we manufactured generators, motors, transformers, etc. as an electrical product prototype factory of Toba Shipyard Co., Ltd. (later Kobe Steel Co., Ltd. Electric Department Toba Electric Manufacturing Factory). It was started. In 1949, it became Sinfonia Technology Co., Ltd., and in addition to the generators and motors mentioned above, it has been producing electromagnetic clutches / brakes, vibration transfer devices, industrial vehicles, etc., and has continued its progress as a medium-sized heavy electric machine manufacturer.

However, in recent years, in line with the development of industry and the sophistication of technology, the business domain has been transformed into the electronic, precision and control fields centered on electronic equipment for aircraft, digital color printers, semiconductor wafer transfer robots, hybrid automobile power evaluation equipment, etc. Has been strongly promoted.

This time, in addition to such a transformation of the corporate entity, 90 years have passed since the company was founded, and the current business entity that cannot be expressed by “electrical machinery” alone will be expressed, and all employees will work together. We have changed the company name from “Shinko Denki Co., Ltd.” to “Sinfonia Technology Co., Ltd.” with the new value that our company will continue to exist in society and the desire to make a leap into the next era.

Although the economic situation surrounding us is extremely difficult, we have established a brand statement, renewed our trademark and corporate color, and improved our brand value in order to build a new corporate brand in line with the recent change in company name.
